import python_files.python_task1. python_task = PythonOperator(. task_id='python_task', python_callable=python_task1.main, dag=dag) I assume PythonOperator will use the system python environment. I've found that Airflow has the PythonVirtualenvOperator, but this appears to work by creating a new virtual env on the fly using the specified ...

I've just installed Apache Airflow, and I'm launching the webserver for the first time, and it asks me for username and password, I haven't set any username or password.

airflow initdb: Initialize the metadata database. airflow resetdb: Burn down and rebuild the metadata database. This doesn't tell me much. My best guess is that. airflow initdb is to be used only the first time that the database is created from the airflow.cfg. airflow resetdb is to be used if any changes to that configuration are required.

max_active_tis_per_dag: controls the number of concurrent running task instances across dag_runs per task. Example: t1 = BaseOperator(pool='my_custom_pool', max_active_tis_per_dag=12) Options that are specified across an entire Airflow setup: core.parallelism: maximum number of tasks running across an entire Airflow installation.

Click Select device and choose"Other (Custom name)" so that you can input"Airflow". Select Generate. Copy the generated App password (the 16 character code in the yellow bar), for example xxxxyyyyxxxxyyyy. Select Done. Once you are finished, you won’t see that App password code again.

There is a webserver_config.py configuration for Airflow 2.2.2 to connect IBM Bluepages LDAP. It is based on Marc's answer. The only difference is to set the default role to the Viewer for new users. User with Public role only after login sees a weird page that looks like something going wrong. import os.

In your airflow.cfg, you've these two configurations to control this behavior: # after how much time a new DAGs should be picked up from the filesystem. min_file_process_interval = 0. dag_dir_list_interval = 60. You might have to reload the web-server, scheduler and workers for your new configuration to take effect. answered Jan 1, 2018 at 0:27.

I would like to create a conditional task in Airflow as described in the schema below. The expected scenario is the following: Task 1 executes. If Task 1 succeed, then execute Task 2a. Else If Task 1 fails, then execute Task 2b. Finally execute Task 3. All tasks above are SSHExecuteOperator.

For the older version, you should build a new image and set this image in the docker-compose.yaml. To do this, you need to follow a few steps. Create a new Dockerfile with the following content: FROM apache/airflow:2.0.0. RUN pip install --no-cache-dir apache-airflow-providers. Build a new image:

1. @devinho thanks but I wish steps were added too. Steps: 1> airflow users delete -u user_name -e email (or simply providing user should also do the work). 2> Again add the same user as below (for airflow versions >2): airflow users create --username admin --firstname admin --lastname admin --role Admin --email admin. – Brijesh.
